Report: Erasmus Re-join Pirates


 

Kermit Erasmus has re-joined Orlando Pirates after struggling with game time at Mamelodi Sundowns this season.


Erasmus, who is affectionately known as, Romeo returns to the Buccaneers having left to join French outfit Stade Rennais back in 2016.


Before moving to France in 2016, Romeo registered 80 appearances for the Sea Robbers and scored 21 goals with 14 assists.


The talented striker signed a two year deal with Pirates. He becomes the sixth senior signing of the season for Pirates.


The Soweto giants also announced the signing of goalkeeper Sipho Chaine. The 25-year-old signs from Chippa United on a three-year deal and Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo.

Zwane Not Worried On Chances Missed

  Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane is not too much worried about the chances that his strikers couldn’t convert against AmaZulu at FNB stadium. Amakhosi came from behind to play 1-1 stalemate against AmaZulu in their first leg MTN8 semi-final. The visiting team went 10-men early in the second half after Veluyeke Zulu get a second yellow card.   Ashley Du Preez had a chance to give Chiefs the equaliser his shot went over the crossbar. Machaka hope Chiefs keep Billiat

  With  few matches left  before 2022/23 DStv Premiership season end, Kaizer Chiefs popular fan Machaka Mashilo is hoping Amakhosi will not release the Zimbabwean born Khama Billiat at the end of the season.  The 31-year-old  joined the  Soweto Giants in 2018 on a free transfer after leaving Mamelodi Sundowns.  Billiat contract with Chiefs will expire at the end of the current season.
