Broos: I Am A Happy Coach Today

Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos was a happy man after a 4 -0 victory against Sierra Leone at FNB stadium.

Themba Zwane made a return for the first time in the national team since Hugo Bross take in charge of the national team.

Broos, was delighted with Zwane performance and singled him out as the missing link in his team.

“I am a happy coach today, not only because we won 4-nil, but also there is after our three last games I think the negative vision around Bafana Bafana was so big that we needed that today. And it’s not only the performance on the pitch but also the chances we have, the goals we scored, so we’ve won a lot of confidence again today and this was very important, and this was the goal before those two friendly games,” said Broos.

“I hope and I hope that the team will do the same thing next week Tuesday. It’s not enough that we are happy today, but we will be happy also Tuesday evening after the game against Botswana and I expect from the players the same mentality, the same performance, what they did today.”

“I will also mention I am not a coach who have special mentions for some players, but what Themba Zwane did today was great, maybe hopefully the missing link in our team, the guy who can keep the ball, the guy who can keep passes, the guy who can score.”

Bafana Bafana will face Botswana on Tuesday evening at FNB stadium.
