Zondo is back in top flight

 


Former Golden Arrows and Nedbank Ke Yona team coach Khabo Zondo has joined Royal AM. The former Bafana Bafana assistant coach replaced John Maduka who joined Royal AM rivals Maritzburg United FC.


The 61 year old Zondo has previous worked as an assistant coach at Mamelodi Sundowns FC before taking charge of clubs Abafana besethende, now defunct Bloemfontein Celtic FC and Tembisa Classic FC. 


Zondo was unveiled by the KZN based club along with Thabo Maloka who was working at Mathaithai FC and served as the club Physical Trainer.


Moreover, Royal AM have announced four new players to the team ahead of next season. Andre de Jong from AmaZulu FC

Samir Nurković from Kaizer Chiefs

Ruzaigh Gamildien and Khetha Ndlovu from Moroka Swallows FC.


The Kwa-Zulu Natal based team will participate in CAF Confederation Cup next season for the first time in the club history after finishing third position on DStv premiership.
