Pirates release two players and goalkeeper coach

 


Orlando Pirates has continue to release some players and goalkeeper coach ahead of the 2022/2023 season.


Linda Mntambo, Ntsikelelo Nyauza and goalkeeper Sjoerd Woudenberg are the latest to leave the Buccaneers camp. 


According to Orlando Pirates website, midfielder Linda Mntambo will join Sekhukhune United next season. Mntambo who is affectionately known as “Figo” joined Pirates in 2018 having had spells at Jomo Cosmos and Chippa United. Figo made 71 appearances for Buccaneers in all competitions, scoring eight goals and registered six assists. 


Meanwhile, Ntsikelelo Nyauza will also not be part of the Soweto Giants next season. Nyauza joined Pirates in 2013 and has captained Orlando Pirates on several matches. 


The 32 years old have recorded 192 appearances for Buccaneers and scored seven goals with four assists. 


Having released co-coach Fadlu Davids earlier this month Orlando Pirates have also released goalkeeper coach Sjoerd Woudenberg after spending one season with the club.
