Sundowns progress to the next round

 


Mamelodi Sundowns are through to the next round of the Nedbank Cup after beating Richards Bay 4-0 at Princess Magogo Stadium tonight.

The Brazilians has started the year on the positive note after their new signing Bradley Ralani score his first goal in the first half of the match. Evidently, Sundowns were dominate throughout the match against GladAfrica side and score more goals in the second half.

Surprisingly, Rushine De Reuck has finally got his first goal since he arrives at Sundowns. Former Maritzburg United defender has played 29 matches for Bafana Ba Style so far.

Another new face that was introduced at Chloorkop during January transfer window made his appearance tonight. Teboho Mokoena replaced Rivaldo Coetzee in the second half. Mokoena was a regular at Supersport United before he joined the Brazilians few weeks ago.

Pavol Safranko and Peter Shalulile added their names to the scoresheet to assure that Masandawana are through to the next round of the competition.

Sundowns and University of Pretoria are the only teams that progress to the next round of the Nedbank Cup so far.
