Kaizer Chiefs has extended contracts of seven youngsters from their camp
Despite not making too many announcements during the transfer
window, Kaizer Chiefs has extended contracts of their youngsters, before transfer
window close midnight. Six of the seven players who were awarded contract extension
come from Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development.
Reeve Frosler who joined Amakhosi from Bidvest Wits in 2019
has extended his contract until June 2025. Frosler has played 73 matches in all
competitions since he joined the Glamour Boys. Another player who received three-year
extension is happy Mashiane.
Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Bruce Bvuma, Keletso Sifama and Thaba
Mokoena will be with Amakhosi until 2024. Bvuma has been with the first team
club for five years now since he’s been promoted from development and he’s also
part of Bafana Bafana squad recently. And, Mokoena who was loaned to Pretoria
Callies is back at Naturena after his contract extension.
Attacking midfielder Sabelo Radebe has signed a long-term contract with Kaizer Chiefs that will end in 2026. Bibo was the captain of Chiefs reserve team before he got promoted to the senior team.
“We are happy that we were able to secure these seven players services for an extended period,” says Kaizer Motaung Jr.
Furthermore, Kaizer Motaung Jr has stated that the club is
working on senior players contracts at the moment.
“There are senior players contracts that need to be reviewed and we are in the process of evaluating and finalising those deals. We will make further announcements in due course.” he concluded.
