Fifteen PSL players will participate at AFCON
Africa Cup of Nation is set to kick-off on Sunday evening.
The host Cameroon will face Les Etalons “Burkina Faso” on the opening day of
the tournament.
Fifteen players from Premier Soccer League will be participating on the tournament. All the players come from eleven different teams in DStv premiership and Glad Africa championship.
It’ll be the second time in history of African football to
have 24 countries participating in this tournament. The first time this
expansion happen it was in 2019 when Egypt was the host nation.
The defending champions Algeria are looking to defend this
title after beat Senegal in 2019 in Cairo, Egypt.
The final for the tournament will be played on 6 February 2022.
