Confirmed: Mere join TS Galaxy

Vuyo Mere has joined TS Galaxy after parting ways with his former team Swallows FC few days ago. Nevertheless, Mere deal was set to expire at the end of the season.

“Mere has penned an 18-month deal with the Rockets. He boasts a wealth of experience in the elite league having risen to prominence back in 2001” - the club confirmed on their statement.

The 37 years-old was part of the squad who helped Swallows to be promoted to the top flight in 2020 after winning GladAfrica Championship. Later, he fell out of favour with the club, and he last featured for the Dube Birds in 24 October last year against Chippa United.

The former Platinum Stars and Bidvest Wits right back is the third player to have been signed by Tim Sukazi team after they sign Shane Roberts and Lefa Hlongwane.
